Animal Control

Welcome to the City of George West Animal Department.

Our Mission Statement:

• The George West Animal Control Department is to serve as an active animal countrol resource in the City of George West.

• Enforce animal control ordinances.

• Promote the spaying and neutering of dogs and cats.

• Educate the community on responsible animal care.

• Help prevent cruelty to animals.

Although we are a City Department, our budget is limited. To keep all our animals in good care we encourage both adoption and charitable donations.

The City of George West Animal Control Department periodically accepts dog and cat food.
